What is TransferJet?

TransferJet is a Close Proximity Wireless Transfer technology featuring simple operation, safe connection and quick transfer of data.
Simple Operation
・ | Intuitive operation, consisting of simply bringing two devices to touch each other such that files are transferred automatically.
・ | No need for complex setup, device pairing or the use of access points.
・ | Point-to-point connectivity, with no host/target relationship. Data transfer can take place between mobile phones and stationary PCs, for example, as well as between two mobile/handheld devices. |
Safe Connection
・ | Short transmission distance ensures safe, secure data transfer, without the need for complex security measures or setup procedures.
・ | Users are able to register their electronic products to enable TransferJet to recognize and connect with specific devices only, thereby preventing unintended, unauthorized, and malicious access. With restrictions off, users can exchange data freely with any person or device while traveling, at parties in the office, etc. |
Efficient Transfer
・ | Physical layer transmission rate is 560 Mbps; maximum data throughput is 375Mbps. Only a few seconds are needed to transfer a one-hour TV program (eg., in MPEG4, 170MB).
・ | System is capable of adjusting the appropriate data transmission rate according to the quality of the wireless medium.
・ | As TransferJet is a close proximity wireless system which radiates very low-power radio waves, it causes virtually no interference to other wireless systems, and there is no impact to performance (no interference) even if multiple users simultaneously use TransferJet nearby. |
